Czech Republic Rotating Story for Blarney Bubbles

I am Irish sheep Blarney Bubbles and Czech pupils call me Bíbles, Bublís, Bubi or Biry Bary.

I had great holidays in the Czech Republic in the village school Libchavy. Pupils took me to their classrooms for lessons, to their trips and to their homes.

One day – Comenius Day it was pretty sunny, we walked to the outdoor sport centre Cakle on the bank of Tichá Orlice river. Pupils played games, made a fire and cooked very tasty rolls – twister break. I saw goats there too.

Much of the time I spend with 4th grade and the best experience was running the Relay Race of Emil Zátopek. He was the famous Czech marathon runner. Myself and 4th grade were the first!!!! Pupils gave me fruit ice lolly. It was really delicious! I visited the Zoo with 1st and 2nd grade pupils. We watched many different animals from Africa and other parts of the world.

In October I travelled by fast train to the Capital of the Czech Republic – Prague. We walked through historical parts of the city - Charles Bridge, Prague Castle and I watched the changing of the guards.

Children took me to a football afternoon activity. I played football and watched their match.

Thank you all very much! I liked being with you. We had loads of fun together!!

I am looking forward to meeting other children, teachers and families!!!

Yours Bublís
